Join Bob Eldridge for a general discussion group with a focus on family and relationships. The topic for this free online meeting is “Communicating your Diagnosis with Family and Friends”. Bob is a husband, father, musician, entertainer and a retired school teacher. He has run discussion groups over the years, including singles groups, and has provided music therapy and discussion groups for two senior citizen centers in the Bronx. Bob has a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in education, and an MS in Guidance and Counseling from CCNY. As a discussion group leader, Bob will be empathetic, helpful and encouraging.
Join Terence “Terry” Fague for a general discussion group about life with HCM. Terry was diagnosed with HCM ten years ago, at age 60, and had a septal myectomy at the Cleveland Clinic. He has tested positive for a gene that is known to cause the disease and has three adult children, two of whom have also tested positive for this gene. For the past 42 years, Terry has practiced law in Dayton, Ohio. He follows college and pro football, and is an amateur astronomer. Terry looks forward to hearing about your experiences, while sharing his own journey with HCM.
