MASK

Join us as we honor the contributions of HCMA community members and HCMA Recognized Centers of Excellence and present our first Founders' Award.

The evening will start with a cocktail hour featuring stationary displays and butler-passed hors d'oeuvres, followed by a three-course sit-down dinner.

HCM has long been called the "Great Masquerader" as its symptoms can often mimic other disorders. It is time to Unmask HCM and bring attention to this long-underrecognized disease.

The HCMA Annual Patient Meeting will bring together patients, practitioners, researchers, and key opinion leaders to:

  • Existing and emerging HCM management options, including NEW medication, surgery, non-surgical procedures, and gene therapy.

  • Empower patients to engage in shared decision-making and use their voices to raise awareness for HCM.

  • Provide opportunities for HCM patients, clinicians, researchers, and industry representatives to connect with one another, share their experiences, and develop a deeper appreciation of all stakeholders in the community.

  • Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author Michael Moss will be the recipient of the Inaugural Founders Award.
