- Online Discussion Groups: online avenues where those affected by HCM can connect with, support, and learn from one another.
- HCMA’s Center of Excellence: a network of medical providers across the country that have specialized knowledge and care for HCM.
- Advancing Awareness: using online, networking and other channels to increase understanding and recognition of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy within medical communities and among the general public.
- Promoting and Funding Research: through partnerships with medical organizations and sharing trials that take us one step closer to a future without HCM.
Between 700,000 and 750,000 people are living with HCM in the U.S. alone – that’s about 1 in every 500 people.
At HCMA, we strive to serve and support those affected by HCM through programming and services.
