Caroline Rosenstone
It is with sadness that we announce that Caroline Rosenstone, an HCMA Lifetime Member and friend to many in the HCM community, passed away on June 8, 2023.
Caroline was an active member of our private Facebook group, often posting questions, comments or simply lending much-appreciated support to others. She had a tremendous thirst for knowledge and was fastidious about learning all she could about Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy.
Since joining the HCMA in 2020, Caroline has registered and actively participated in 56 HCMA Online Events.
She was also generous in sharing what she learned with others to help them along their journey, whether it was related to HCM or her life's passion, writing.
In 1985, Caroline created a writing program for high school students and spent over three decades directing it. She made a significant impact on her writing students' lives, as is apparent by the comments recorded in the announcement of her death in the New Haven Independent.
If you want to donate in Caroline’s honor, please consider donating to the HCMA Scholarship Fund.
Caroline was a passionate HCM Warrior who made a positive impact on our community with her generosity. Her donations, including to our HCMA Scholarship Fund, helped to provide financial aid to those in a “crisis” or “high-risk” situation to become members of the HCMA.
Caroline will truly be missed. Rest in peace, dear HCM Warrior Princess; your battle is done.
