Join our online education/support group leader, Karen Klimczak, in a discussion and general Q&A for individuals facing a transplant pathway.  This event will feature Dr. Robert Pensack who will be presenting at the start of the meeting on the topic of "Exercise, Family, and Health."

Karen was diagnosed with HCM at 27 years old, with no family history, and after years of passing out/concussions (early 20s) during physical activity.  Having grown up super active, playing tennis, hiking, and weightlifting, HCM wasn't easy to understand or diagnose. Karen received a life-giving heart transplant on NYE 2020.  As a support group co-leader, Karen hopes to support others along their transplant journey and life’s path. It is all possible because of great support (a huge village) and taking it one moment at a time.

**PLEASE NOTE: OUR DISCUSSION GROUP LEADERS ARE VOLUNTEERS AND DEDICATE THEIR PERSONAL TIME TO ASSIST OUR HCM COMMUNITY. PLEASE BE MINDFUL AND BE SURE TO MARK YOUR CALENDAR WITH YOUR MEETING DATE/TIME AS WE HAVE HAD SOME "NO SHOWS" AND YOUR SLOT COULD BE USED FOR OTHERS WHO MAY WANT TO ATTEND. IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL, PLEASE EMAIL SUPPORT@4HCM.ORG. THANK YOU!!!

Note:  Unless otherwise specified, all event start times are displayed Eastern Time Zone.  **Attendee privacy is important; meetings are recorded by the HCMA for internal use only for quality assurance.
