The right place for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy care
Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is proud to launch the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) Center, offering highly personalized care and leading-edge treatments to achieve a good quality of life and longevity for our patients with HCM.
The Center is led by Drs. Martin S. Maron, Barry J. Maron, and Ethan J. Rowin, are internationally recognized authorities and innovators in HCM, with a combined more than 75 years of expertise in managing patients with this disease.
We offer a multi-disciplinary approach to HCM patient care with treatment strategies relevant to each individual patient, employing a team of specialists including cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, nutritionists, and social workers.

Burlington, MA is situated 12 miles northwest of downtown Boston, at the intersection of Routes I-95/128, I-93, and 3. At the heart of New England, the local area is known for its history, educational institutions, and culture. Shopping is also a focal point, with 3rd Ave, Wayside Commons, and the second largest shopping center in Massachusetts, the Burlington Mall, where “Paul Blart: Mall Cop” (starring Kevin James) was filmed. Burlington’s weather is seasonal, with typically cold and snowy Winters, rainy but beautiful Springs, hot and humid Summers, and spectacular Falls with cooler temperatures and stunning leaves.

Hotels
The annual average nightly hotel room rate in Burlington, MA (excluding taxes) in 2023 is $168 between May 1st and October 31st and $142 from November 1st through April 30th.
Many lodging options that do not include a kitchenette do have refrigerators and/or microwaves available to guests. You may need to request them in advance.

3-star hotel; Discount varies by season and length of stay. They can take out bed frames if the bed is too high. No connecting rooms, but they do have 2-bedroom suites. Hyatt House has their own free shuttle that can take you anywhere in a 4-mile radius (including Lahey); it runs M-F 7am-6pm.
