Cleveland Clinic's Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Center is a multidisciplinary specialty treatment group dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of HCM in individuals and family members. We bring together clinicians that specialize in HCM, including physicians and nurses from Cardiovascular Medicine, Genetics, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Pediatric Cardiology, and Psychology with expertise in diagnostic and genetic testing, medical management, and interventional and surgical procedures for patients with obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. In addition, we are involved in multiple research studies that provide patients with access to cutting edge novel therapies and diagnostic modalities.

Cleveland is a vibrant midwestern city, located in the northeast part of Ohio on the southern shore of Lake Erie. Local attractions include: The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame; Playhouse Square performing arts center; The Cleveland Museum of Art; Cleveland Botanical Garden; and the Cleveland Clinic itself. Major sports teams, with stadiums just a few miles from the Clinic, are the Browns (football), Cavaliers (basketball), and Guardians (baseball). Cleveland was the first city to be lit by electricity, with the first electric traffic light located next to the Case Western Reserve University campus. Visitors to Cleveland should expect seasonal weather. Winters are cold, cloudy, and often snowy, with average temperatures in the 30s. Summer temperatures regularly reach into the 80s, while Spring and Fall are more temperate.
