Cincinnati. Also known as Cincy, ‘Nati, The Queen City, Queen of the West, The Blue Chip City, The City of Seven Hills, and even Porkopolis. Nestled into the southwest corner of Ohio, Cincinnati is the largest metropolitan area in the state and sits just north of the Ohio River, which creates the border with northern Kentucky. Formed in 1869, the Cincinnati Red Stockings (now the Cincinnati Reds) were the first professional baseball team. The Bengals of the NFL call this home as well. Many recognizable public figures have ties to Cincy, including Steven Spielberg, Sarah Jessica Parker, George Clooney, boy band 98 Degrees, Presidents Grant, Harrison, and Taft, and Harriet Beecher Stowe. Known for its beer and chili, the region is also infused with midwestern vibes and southern charm.
